Tates Creek coach Joe Pat Covington started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Will Thomas, 6-0 Sr. LaMarcus Baker, 6-4 Sr. Stephen Gray, 6-0 Sr. Jeff Lewis, and 6-0 Sr. Joe Warren. Bryan Station coach Bobby Washington countered with 6-6 Jr. Terren Harbut, 6-0 Sr. Damond Washburn, 6-1 Sr. Donte Tichenor, 5-8 Sr. Eddie Smith, and 5-10 Sr. D.J. Moberly.
Tates Creek could never get their offense going tonight and was handily
defeated by Bryan Station 54-38. Tates Creek's Will Thomas
was held to 6 points and was hampered with foul problems. Baker
led Tates Creek with 12 points. Terren Harbut provided the inside
punch for Bryan Station with 16 points and Eddie Smith and
D.J. Moberly provided outside scoring with 13 and 11 points respectively.
Bryan Station continues to support their claim as one of the most
improved teams in the state, rebounding from a dismal 3-20 record last
year.
