Indiana started the following lineup: Amaya Hamilton, Jorie Allen, Hanah Noveroske, Carissa Garcia, and Sydney Freeman. Kentucky countered with Emma King, Lauren Schwartz, Cameron Browning, Savannah Wheeler, and Maaliya Owens.
Kentucky defeated Indiana by a score of 79-74. The score was tied twice and there were eight lead changes in the game. Indiana led 38-26 in the second quarter but Kentucky buoyed by a 27-17 advantage in the third quarter rallied for the victory. Kentucky shot 40.3% from the field including 12 of 34 from the three point line. They connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Indiana turnovers. Indiana shot 39.7% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc. They connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Kentucky turnovers.
Savannah Wheeler led Kentucky with 19 points including four three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals. Maaliya Owens added 18 points including five three point baskets. Lauren Schwartz recorded 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals. Joelle Johnson also reached double figures with 10 points. Cameron Browning added nine points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.
Jorie Allen led Indiana with 12 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Emma Nolan added 12 points including two three point baskets. Sydney Freeman recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. Amaya Hamilton chipped in with eight points, nine rebounds, and two steals.
