Collins coach Chris Gaither started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Marcellus Vail, 6-2 Jr. Josh Scriber, 6-3 Sr. Dane Kidwell, 6-1 Sr. Colby Eades, and 6-1 Jr. Dayvion McKnight.  Male coach Tim Haworth countered with 6-5 Jr. Noah Courtney, 6-1 Jr. Jake Evans, 6-7 Sr. Zach Gray, 6-0 So. Cameron Pope, and 6-0 Jr. Tyren Moore.

 

Collins defeated Male by a score of 77-66.  Collins shot 58.5% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Titans connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 13 Male turnovers.  Male shot 47.1% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Collins turnovers.

 

Marcellus Vail led Collins with 24 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Dayvion McKnight added 23 points including five of five free throws, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and here steals.  5-10 Jr. Tyson Turner recorded nine points on three three point baskets, three assists, and two steals.

 

Noah Courtney led Male with 16 points and seven rebounds.  Cameron Pope added 16 points including four three point baskets.  Tyren Moore recorded 12 points including six of six free throws, five rebounds, and three assists.

Trinity defeated LaRue County by a score of 67-46.  Trinity shot 43.5% from the field including six of 27 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 Larue County turnovers.  LaRue County shot 37.5% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc.  The Hawks connected on 13 of 19 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 10 Trinity turnovers.

 

Stan Turnier led Trinity with 17 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and three steals.  Jamil Hardaway added 16 points on eight of 10 field goal attempts and seven rebounds.  David Johnson recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists.  Kamari Kenemore chipped in with nine points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

 

Dailliss Cox led LaRue County with 14 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Anthony Adkins added 12 points and five rebounds.  Mark Goode recorded seven points and 12 rebounds.

Walton-Verona defeated Madison Central by a score of 62-50.  The score was tied six times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Walton-Verona shot 59% from the field including two of five from the three point line.  The Bearcats connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 41.9% from the field including two of seven from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored five points off 10 Walton-Verona turnovers.

 

Kam Pardee led Walton-Verona with 16 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Garrett Jones added 14 points.  Trey Bonne recorded 12 points and four steals.  Dieonte Miles added nine points and three rebounds.  Grant Grubbs chipped in with seven points.

Walter Johnson Jr. led Ballard with 21 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and five assists.  Rashad Bishop added 15 points and five rebounds.  Lewis Richards recorded 14 points including nine of 10 free throws and five assists.  6-3 Jr. Josh Minkins Jr. added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Brentwood Academy (TN) trailed 37-24 early in the third quarter but outscored South Miami (FL) 46-21 the rest of the way to earn a 70-58 victory over the Cobras.  Brentwood Academy shot 43.8% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored five points off nine South Miami (FL) turnovers.  South Miami (FL) shot 37.3% from the field including nine of 31 from beyond the arc.  The Cobras connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Brentwood Academy (TN) turnovers.

 

Randy Brady led Brentwood Academy (TN) with 22 points including 10 of 11 free throws and eight rebounds.  Marcus Fitzgerald added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  BJ Davis recorded 13 points.  Cory Reynolds chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.
