The 21st Annual Rick Bolus’ High Potential® Basketball Showcase Mini-Camp (Girls) was held in Georgetown, Kentucky at Georgetown College.
The camp director for this camp was Rick Bolus with 45 years of experience in the basketball business. Rick Bolus started the Rick Bolus High Potential® Basketball Recruiting Service in 1973. Mr. Bolus’ newsletters not only reach the desks of numerous college coaches nationwide, but also several all-star game directors. He has also coached girls' basketball, conducted girls' camps, and ran women's coaching clinics over the years.
A camp report will be made available via internet to almost 2,000 women’s basketball college coaches in the United States in early August. The camp features speakers on recruiting, academics, and basketball. Each player participates in at least five games over the two-day period. There are fundamentals stations, team practice sessions, optional competition contests, and a written evaluation from the camper's league coach. The camp director is at camp both days observing each player's performance daily. A doctor is on call at all times and a certified trainer is at camp around the clock.
There were eighty-nine players present at this camp. There were players from Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, and Michigan. They were placed into two divisions, the North and the South which were both high school divisions. The North Division consisted of Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky. The South Division consisted of Maine, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas. Each team will play five games with the overall champion and runner-up being determined by the best winning percentage. Tie breakers if necessary will be determined by criteria set by the camp director. The following is a list of players plus team designations.

Sydnee Richetto Wilson Central Lebanon TN is a top offensive player with downtown range. 5-8 Sr. Bailey Pedigo Barren County Glasgow KY is a playmaker and leader on the floor. 5-5 Sr. Ivy Turner Danville Danville KY is a complete scoring PG. 5-5 Jr. Deshiya Hoosier Beech Hendersonville TN is a quick floor general who scores. 5-9 Sr. Summer Secrist Scott Taylor Mill KY is an excellent scorer and a leader on the court.

Sydney-James Desroches Clarksville Christian Clarksville TN plays hard, versatile scorer, and one to watch. 6-0 Sr. Addison Wilson Cumberland County Crossville TN is a versatile inside/outside shooter who runs the floor well. 5-6 Jr. Elizabeth Bertram Barren County Glasgow KY fearless competitor scores in bunches both inside and outside. 5-9 Sr. Caitlyn Puckett Minford Minford OH is a shooter and penetrator who finishes at the rim. 5-6 Jr. Lauren Lee Casey County Liberty KY is a great all around PG who makes the game look easy. 5-10 Sr. Lindi DeBilzan Lafayette Lexington KY is an athletic do-it-all wing player. 5-8 So. Whitney Caldwell Pineville Pineville KY young combo guard shoots, handles, and passes. 5-5 Jr. Hannah Bolton Monroe Central Parker City IN has a high basketball IQ and is a deadly shooter. 6-2 Sr. Mary-Clare Megibben Collins Shelbyville KY has great size and is very active in the paint. 5-1 So. Haylee Neeley Walton-Verona Walton KY has excellent PG skills and high energy. 5-7 Jr. Jocelyn Spaulding Union County Morganfield KY is a floor lead who gets to the rim.

Raigan King Pineville Pineville KY is a strong inside player who catches the ball in traffic. 5-8 Fr. Joyce Mukalamusi Tates Creek Lexington KY is an athletic wing player with good skills. 5-8 Fr. Amiya Jenkins Henry Clay Lexington KY is a 2-guard to watch in the future. 5-6 Jr. Shelbi Wilson George Rogers Clark Winchester KY is a playmaker with skills. 5-4 Jr. Shiaynn Elkins Russell County Russell Springs KY this PG can shoot and thread a needle with her passes. 5-9 So. Sarah Hicks Ryle Union KY attacks the rim and has nice mid range jump shot. 5-5 Jr. Jana Claire Swafford Beech Hendersonville TN is a strong guard and good scorer. 5-9 So. Sheridan Robbins Orleans Orleans IN great shooter, posts up and rebounds. 5-6 Sr. Samantha Roembke Allatoona Acworth GA is an all around offensive threat. 5-9 Sr. Brooke Perry Walton-Verona Walton KY wing forward can shoot the ball.
The numbers of campers were down this year but not the talent. This was an abbreviated list with several other players making good impressions. Many mentioned here and several there were not have the ability to make a big impact this season with their respective teams.
As mentioned before, a full camp report will be made available to almost 2,000 women’s basketball college coaches in early August by the camp director. While the staff was well pleased with this year’s camp, every effort will be made to improve the camp to make future versions even better.
