Kentucky coach Pete Fraley started the following lineup: 6-0 Nila Blackford, 5-10 Lauren Schwartz, 6-3 Cameron Browning, 5-9 Savannah Wheeler, and 5-9 Emma King.  Indiana coach Debbie Guckenberger countered with 6-1 Lilly Hatton, 5-11 Trinity Brady, 6-1 Sophia Nolan, 5-9 Maddie Nolan, and 6-1 Jorie Allen.

 

Indiana defeated Kentucky by a score of 95-90.  Indiana shot 44.3% from the field including nine of 20 from the three point line.  They connected on 24 of 37 free throws, pulled down 52 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 24 Kentucky turnovers.  Kentucky shot 41% from the field including nine of 27 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 17 of 18 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 28 Indiana turnovers.

 

Maddie Nolan led Indiana with 22 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and four steals.  Trinity Brady added 17 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Tai-Yanna Jackson recorded 11 points, six rebounds, four blocked shots, and three steals.  Sydney Freeman chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and four steals.

 

Savannah Wheeler led Kentucky with 15 points including three three point baskets.  Jasmine Elder also scored 15 points.  Nila Blackford added 10 points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Mikayla Kinnard chipped in with 10 points and six rebounds.

Kentucky rallied late to defeat Indiana by a score of 90-85.  The score was tied five times and there were 11 lead changes in the game.  Kentucky shot 41.9% from the field including 13 of 32 from the three point line.  They connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Indiana turnovers.  Indiana shot 45.8% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Kentucky turnovers.

 

Michael Moreno led Kentucky with 25 points including four three point baskets and seven rebounds.  David Johnson added 23 points including three three point baskets, nine rebounds, and three steals.  Kyle Rode recorded 22 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.

 

Dawand Jones led Indiana with 25 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Armaan Franklin added 21 points including two three point baskets.  Ethan Brittain-Watts recorded 14 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  Colin Kenney chipped in with 11 points.
