Indiana coach Pat McKee started the following lineup: 6-2 Emily Kiser, 5-10 Kaitlyn Gilbert, 6-3 MacKenzie Blazek, 5-8 Angel Baker, and 5-10 Amy Dilk.  Kentucky coach Joey Thacker countered with 6-1 Blair Green, 5-11 Grace Berger, 6-2 Emma Souder, 5-9 Seygan Robins, and 5-9 Lexi Held.

 

Kentucky hit their free throws down the stretch to defeat Indiana by a score of 92-87 in a hotly contested game.  The score was tied six times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  Kentucky shot 42.7% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  They connected on 23 of 34 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Indiana turnovers.  Indiana shot 37.3% from the field including nine of 29 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Kentucky turnovers.

 

Mykasa Robinson led a balanced Kentucky scoring attack with 14 points including 12 of 14 free throws and five rebounds.  Blair Green added 13 points and 14 rebounds.  Ciaja Harbison also scored 13 points.  Emmy Souder recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Grace Berger chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals.  Lexi Held also reached double figures with 10 points including two three point baskets.  Molly Lockhart added nine points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Seygan Robins recorded eight points and seven assists.

 

Amy Dilk led Indiana with 25 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and two steals.  Kaitlyn Gilbert added 13 points, six rebounds, and three assists.  Angel Baker recorded 12 points including two three point baskets.  MacKenzie Blazek chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Michaela White pulled down nine rebounds and blocked two shots.

Indiana coach Jim Shannon started the following lineup: 6-5 Aaron Henry, 6-3 Eric Hunter, 6-7 Damezi Anderson, 6-1 Robert Phinisee, and 6-5 Romeo Langford.  Kentucky coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-4 Skyelar Potter, 6-4 Trevon Faulkner, 6-8 Mickey Pearson, 6-2 Markello Sullivan, and 6-3 Eric Boone.

 

Kentucky defeated Indiana 100-89 in what could be considered one of the biggest upsets in the series.  Kentucky played inspired defense especially on super star Romeo Langford.  Kentucky was hot from beyond the arc as well.  Kentucky shot 48% from the field including 13 of 27 from the three point line.  They connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Indiana turnovers.  Indiana shot 40% from the field including 10 of 34 from beyond the arc.  They Connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 14 Kentucky turnovers.

 

Markello Sullivan led Kentucky with 28 points including five three point baskets and five rebounds.  Skyelar Potter added 19 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists.  Eric Boone recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, and four steals.  Trevon Faulkner chipped in with 10 points.

 

Romeo Langford led Indiana with 17 points and five rebounds.  Robert Phinisee added 11 points and six rebounds.  Mekhi Lairy recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.  Sean East and Eric Hunter scored 10 points each.
