Elliott County coach Greg Adkins started the following lineup: 6-1 Fr. Bryce Dickerson, 6-1 Sr. Tanner Dickerson, 6-1 Sr. Gavin Fannin, 6-1 Jr. Gage Evans, and 5-9 So. Kole Whitley.  Franklin County coach Tony Wise countered with 6-3 Sr. Walker Lee, 6-2 Jr. Kyle Stivers, 6-5 Sr. Brady Roberts, 6-0 So. Jared Courtney, and 6-1 Jr. Ike Boling.

 

Elliott County led 52-30 after three quarters but had to withstand a furious Franklin County rally to earn a 69-65 victory.  Elliott County shot 47.6% from the field including nine of 19 from the three point line.  The Lions connected on 20 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 32.8% from the field including eight of 28 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 17 of 21 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 18 Elliott County turnovers.  Franklin County held a 14-3 advantage in second effort points.

 

Tanner Dickerson led Elliott County with 32 points including eight three point baskets, six of six free throws, seven rebounds, and five steals.  Kole Whitley added 13 points including 11 of 13 free throws, seven rebounds, and seven assists.  Gage Evans chipped in with nine points and five assists.

 

Kyle Stivers led Franklin County with 15 points including three three point baskets and eight rebounds.  6-3 Sr. Cayman Hubbard added 14 points including three three point baskets.  Walker Lee recorded eight points, 12 rebounds, and three steals.

Daviess County defeated Wolfe County by a score of 71-44.  Daviess County shot 48.3% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 18 Wolfe County turnovers.  Wolfe County shot 37% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Wolves connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Daviess County turnovers.

 

6-1 So. Dakota Walden led Daviess County with 18 points, four rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  Walden was eight of nine from the field and two of two from the free throw line.  Blake Boswell added 17 points.  Caden Coomes recorded 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals.

Stephon Franklin led a balanced Doss scoring attack with 14 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and five assists.  6-3 Sr. Taye Calloway added nine points on three three point baskets and four rebounds.  6-4 Jr. Shawnkell Knight-Goff recorded eight points and nine rebounds.  Chuck Boyd chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Meith Reclow added eight points and three rebounds.
