Team Elite started the following lineup: PJ Washington, Ethan Thompson, Mo Bamba, Quade Green, and Collin Sexton.  Tem Future countered with Brian Bowen, Jaylen Hands, Brandon McCoy, Trevon Duval, and Trae Young.

Team Elite defeated Team Future by a score of 153-134 in an exciting high scoring affair that entertained the fans from horn to horn.  Defense takes a back seat to show time ball handling, one on one isolation offensive moves, and acrobatic dunks which achieves the goal of entertaining the fans and allowing the players the opportunities of showcasing their offensive skills.  After all this may be one of their last opportunities to free style before getting to the realities of meshing their considerable talents with other stars at the college level.

Team Elite shot 63.3% from the field including six of 28 from the three point line.  They connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Team Future turnovers.  Team Future shot 56.9% from the field including 15 of 40 from beyond the arc.  They connected on three of four free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Team Elite turnovers.

Ethan Thompson was not selected for the McDonald’s All American game or the Jordan Brand Classic but hit the floor running tonight as he led Team Elite with 32 points on 14 of 18 from the field including three of six from the three point line and one of three from the free throw line. Collin Sexton was named MVP for Team Elite, added 27 points and dominated the closing minutes with his isolation moves.  Isaiah “Jelly” Washington recorded 25 points and eight rebounds and entertained the fans with his dribbling and acrobatic moves to the basket.  PJ Washington, Kris Wilkes, Ira Lee, and Mo Bamba chipped in with 16, 15, 12, and 11 points respectively.  Charles O’Bannon Jr. added nine points and seven rebounds.

Brandon McCoy was named MVP for Team Future and led his team with 30 points and seven rebounds.  Brandon Randolph added 22 points.  Chris Lykes, Jaylen Hands, Trae Young, LiAngelo Ball, and Savion Flagg recorded 16,16, 15, 13, and 11 points respectively.  Young and Ball each recorded three three point baskets.
