World Select Coach Roy Rana started the following lineup: 6-8 Justin Jackson, 7-0 DeAndre Ayton, 7-0 Ziming Fan, 6-1 Andres Feliz, and 6-6 Edin Atic.  USA National Select coach LJ Goolsby countered with 6-7 Jayson Tatum, 6-9 Wenyen Gabriel, 6-9 Jarrett Allen, 6-3 De’Aaron Fox, and 6-6 Terrance Ferguson.

 

The USA Select Team raced out to a 20-7 first quarter lead and was never threatened in a 101-67 victory over the World Select Team.  USA Select shot 42.7% from the field including 14 of 36 from the three point line.  They connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 29 World Select turnovers.  World Select Team shot 33.3% from the field including three of 19 from beyond the arc.  They connected on 26 of 39 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 USA Select Team turnovers.

 

Terrance Ferguson led USA Select with 21 points on seven three point baskets.  Jayson Tatum added 14 points including six of six free throws.  6-0 Payton Pritchard recorded 12 points on four three point baskets.  6-4 Markelle Fultz chipped in with 11 points and five steals.  Jarrett Allen added nine points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

6-6 Wesley Silva led the World Select Team with nine points, eight rebounds, and three assists.  DeAndre Ayton added eight points and seven rebounds.  Ziming Fan and 6-5 Isaia Cordinier each recorded eight points and five rebounds.  Andres Feliz also scored eight points.
