Christian Academy of Louisville coach Jana Costner started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Brittany Mumford, 5-9 8th Grade Raquael Reese, 5-9 Jr. Emma Bowman, 5-6 So. Emma Wesley, and 5-6 So. Summer Conti.  North Bullitt coach David Marion countered with 5-8 Sr. Maggie Goeing, 5-7 Sr. Rachel Badgett, 5-9 So. Lauren Deel, 5-5 Jr. Erin Dolan, and 5-5 Jr. Katie Downey.

 

North Bullitt outscored Christian Academy of Louisville 19-8 in the final quarter to pull away for a 64-49 victory.  The score was tied three times and there were five lead changes in the game.  North Bullitt shot 46.4% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 35.4% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on 10 of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off six North Bullitt turnovers.

 

Lauren Deel led North Bullitt with 24 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Megan Goeing added 17 points.  Katie Downey recorded seven points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

 

Raquael Reese led CAL with 12 points including three three point baskets.  Emma Wesley added 10 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.  Summer Conti also scored 10 points including two three point baskets.  Brittany Mumford chipped in with six points and 12 rebounds.  5-6 7th Grade Shelby Calhoun added seven points and six rebounds.

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Pleasure Ridge park 26-7 in the second half to pull away for a 53-24 victory.  Sacred Heart shot 39% from the field including three of 14 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 Pleasure Ridge Park turnovers.  Pleasure Ridge Park shot 16.2% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The lady Panthers connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 13 points and eight rebounds.  Kiki Samsel also scored 13 points including two three point baskets and four steals.  5-4 Sr. Ashley Johnson recorded eight points and four rebounds.

 

Leslie Fries led Pleasure Ridge park with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocked shots.  Niesha Petit-Frere added four points.

Lindsey Duvall led Bullitt East with 19 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and two steals.  Raegan Williams added 12 points and seven rebounds.  Kathleen Scott recorded eight points and five rebounds.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Eastern by a score of 60-45.  Sacred Heart shot 46.5% from the field including nine of 17 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 11 of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Eastern turnovers.  Eastern shot 37.2% from the field including seven of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

 

Meghan Colley led Sacred Heart with 19 points including five three point baskets.  Kia Sivils added 14 points and five rebounds.  5-4 Fr. Kiki Samsel and Lydia Taylor each scored eight points.  Grace Berger and Ashley Johnson pulled down eight and six rebounds respectively.

Mercy Academy raced out to a 31-17 halftime lead on their way to a 64-54 victory over Bullitt East.  Mercy Academy shot 37.9% from the field including six of 26 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 18 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 32% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Mercy turnovers.

 

Malerie Martin led Mercy Academy with 15 points and 14 rebounds.  Jessica Laemmle added 12 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Erin Muthler also scored 12 points including two three point baskets.  Hannah Bewley recorded 11 points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Butler defeated North Bullitt 71-61 in overtime.  There were five lead changes and four ties in this game.  Butler shot 38.5% from the field including four of 22 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 27 of 36 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 North Bullitt turnovers.  North Bullitt shot 42.6% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Butler turnovers.  Three North Bullitt starters Rachel Badgett, Maggie Goeing, and Lauren Deel all fouled out of the game.

 

5-8 So. Janna Lewis led Butler with 17 points and nine rebounds.  Micaiah Bowden added 14 points.  Fontasia Jeffries chipped in with 13 points including seven of 10 free throws.  Breia Torrens recorded 10 points including six of eight free throws and six rebounds.

 

Katie Downey led North Bullitt with 30 points including four three points and 10 of 13 free throws.  Downey pulled down eight rebounds and recorded two steals.  Lauren Deel added 10 points.

Breia Torrens led Butler with 10 points.  5-9 So. Jaelynn Penn added nine points and five rebounds.  Fontasia Jeffries also scored nine points and pulled down four rebounds.  5-8 So. Janna Lewis chipped in with eight points on four of four from the field.

Maci Brown led Henderson County with 18 points on six three point baskets.  DeAsia Outlaw added 10 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Samantha Carter chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.

The score was tied 32-32 after three quarters but Elizabethtown pulled away in the final quarter to earn a 51-42 victory over Sacred Heart Academy.  The score was tied five times and there were two lead changes in the game.  Elizabethtown shot 38.8% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Sacred Heart Academy.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 38.6% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on four of six free throws, pulled down21 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Elizabethtown turnovers.

 

Reauna Cleaver led Elizabethtown with 13 points and 14 rebounds.  Erin Boley added 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  5-5 So. Jada Stinson chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets.

Alexis Robinson hit a basket with 24 seconds left in the game to give Ashland Blazer a 51-50 lead on their way to a 52-50 victory over Mercy Academy.  The score was tied four times and there were seven lead changes in this game.  Ashland Blazer led 30-23 at halftime but Mercy rallied to lead 41-38 after three quarters.  Ashland Blazer outscored the Jaguars 14-9 in the final quarter to earn the victory.

 

Ashland Blazer shot 37.8% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Kittens connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 Mercy Academy turnovers.  Mercy Academy shot 34.4% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 13 Ashland Blazer turnovers.

Butler trailed 36-30 after three quarters but outscored Henderson County 21-5 in the final quarter to earn a 51-41 victory.  The score was tied eight times and there were seven lead changes in the game.  Butler shot 42.1% from the field including one of five from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 17 Henderson County turnovers.  Henderson County shot 34.8% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Colonels connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Butler turnovers.

 

Breia Torrens led Butler with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  5-4 8th Grade Ashlee Harris added eight points and three steals.  Micaiah Bowden and 5-9 So. Jaelynn Penn each scored six points.

 

Kacie Wallace led Henderson County with 11 points.  DeAsia Outlaw added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Samantha Carter recorded 10 points and four rebounds.

Elizabethtown pulled away in the second half to defeat Ashland Blazer by a score of 60-43.  Elizabethtown shot 65.7% from the field including one of one from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 Ashland Blazer turnovers.  Ashland Blazer shot 40% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the field.  The Kittens connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Ashland Blazer turnovers.

 

Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 20 points and eight rebounds.  Reauna Cleaver added 15 points and five rebounds.  5-5 So. Jada Stinson recorded 10 points.

 

Alexis Robinson led Ashland Blazer with 22 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Haley Sue Foutch and Shelby Gransberry each recorded eight points and four rebounds.

Elizabethtown defeated Butler by a score of 62-49.  Elizabethtown shot 50% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Panthers connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Butler turnovers.  Butler shot 40.4% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Bearettes connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Elizabethtown turnovers.

 

Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 25 points including two three point baskets.  5-5 So. Jada Stinson added 10 points.  Reauna Cleaver recorded nine points, 10 rebounds, and three steals.
