Junior Varsity – There were twenty eight teams entered in this division. They were placed into eight pools as follows: Pool A: Bryan Station, Perry County Central, and Woodford County. Pool B: North Laurel, Grant County, and Tates Creek. Pool C: Henderson County, Scott County, and Paul Laurence Dunbar. Pool D: Lafayette-White, Harlan County, Pikeville, and Rowan County-White. Pool E: Madison Central, Henry Clay, Rowan County, and Woodford County-Black. Pool F: West Jessamine, North Laurel-White, Franklin County, and Lexington Christian Academy-White. Pool G: Lexington Christian Academy, Somerset, Whitley County, and Hazard, and Pool H: Southwestern, Lafayette, and Sheldon Clark.

Junior Varsity (Bracket 1)
Madison Central 50 North Laurel 47 (Semifinal) – Terique Miller led Madison Central with 21 points including six three point baskets. Trae Henson led North Laurel with 14 points.
Harlan County 45 Grant county 42 (Semifinal) – Lamar Burkhart and Austin Adams led Harlan County with 11 points each. Zach Tingle led Grant County with 13 points.
Madison Central 59 Harlan County 51 (Championship) – Grant Brockman and Terique Miller led Madison Central with 20 and 16 points respectively. Drew Nolan and Lamar Burkhart led Harlan County with 17 and 15 points respectively.
Junior Varsity (Bracket 2)
Henry Clay 37 Tates Creek 27 (Semifinal) – Paul Price led Henry Clay with 12 points. Taron Cummins and Daryl Bell led Tates Creek with eight points each.
Southwestern 64 Lexington Christian Academy 63 (Semifinal) – Hunter Stevens and Austin Clark led Southwestern with 18 and 16 points respectively. John Davis led LCA with 23 points.
Henry Clay 58 Southwestern 54 (Championship) – Paul Price and Justin Whitlach led Henry Clay with 19 and 17 points respectively. Austin Clark led Southwestern with 30 points.
Overall Championship
Madison Central 57 Henry Clay 53 OT – Grant Brockman led Madison central with 25 points including four three point baskets. Seth Richardson and Bryant Rose added 10 points each. Paul Price and JaQuise Simpson led Henry Clay with 20 and 12 points respectively. Madison Central’s Terique Miller was named the Most Outstanding Player in this division.
Varsity (Bracket 1)
Henry Clay 79 Madison Central 44 (Semifinal) – Isaiah Tisdale and Jeremiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 30 and 21 points respectively. Cameron Thomas led Madison Central with 15 points.
Henderson County 62 Bryan Station 53 (Semifinal) – David Simmons, Brady Norman, and DJ Washington led Henderson County with 16, 15, and 12 points respectively. Andre Davis, Tequan Claitt, and Tim Dunn led Bryan Station with 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.
Henry Clay 61 Henderson County 55 (Championship) – Isaiah and Jeremiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 28 and 18 points respectively. Brady Norman and David Simmons led Henderson County with 21 and 17 points respectively.
Varsity (Bracket 2)
Lexington Christian Academy 84 Sheldon Clark 82 (Semifinal) – Matt Rose, Benton Nighbert, and Drew Trimble led LCA with 24, 17, and 16 points respectively. Chase Parsley led Sheldon Clark with 35 points. Dalton Bradley added 17 points including five three point baskets.
Pleasure Ridge Park 77 Johnson Central 73 (Semifinal) – Khalid Raheem led PRP with 25 points. Bryce Walker, Greg Davidson, and Hunter Stevenson added 15, 12, and 10 points respectively. Mason Blair led Johnson County with 32 points including seven three point baskets. Braxton Blair and Kyle Gullett added 19 and 15 points respectively.
Lexington Christian Academy 71 Pleasure Ridge Park 68 (Championship) – Matt Rose and Trevor Hill led LCA with 30 and 22 points respectively. Khalid Raheem, Richard Gaines, and Brandon Crawford led PRP with 25, 15, and 10 points respectively.
Overall Championship
Henry Clay 68 Lexington Christian Academy 52 – Isaiah and Jeremiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 22 points each. John Stein and Drew Trimble led LCA with 12 and nine points respectively. Matt Rose scored eight points but fouled out with 9:51 left in the game and LCA trailing 47-41. Henry Clay’s Jeremiah Tisdale was named Most Outstanding Player in this division.
Conclusion
This was an excellent four days of basketball with several excellent individual performances including a 54 point outburst by Dunbar’s Darius Williams against East Jessamine. LCA’s Matt Rose and Henry Clay’s Isaiah and Jeremiah Tisdale also had outstanding tournaments. Johnson Central’s Mason Blair also had outstanding performances.
