Conclusion
Coach Chris Fitzgerald’s Southern Pulaski team captured the championship achieving a unique “hat” trick by capturing the 2011 6th grade title, 2012 7th grade title, and this year’s 8th grade title with Hunter Cromer being named Tournament MVP the last three years. The 6th grade team finished 38-1, 7th grade team 38-2, and this year a perfect 38-0.
The competition was extremely good this year as Southern Pulaski had to defeat a very good Knox County team and an excellent Lincoln County squad. Lincoln County had to defeat a very athletic Moss team to advance. Lincoln County led Southern Pulaski by a score of 26-24 at halftime but the Warriors rallied for the victory.
