Christian Academy of Louisville coach Don Rice started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. China Dow, 5-8 Sr. Chalisa Helm, 6-0 Jr. McKenzie Campbell, 5-6 Jr. Lindsey Dunn, and 5-7 Sr. Kate Joss.  Incarnate Word (MO) coach Don Rolfes countered with 6-1 Fr. Napeesha Collier, 5-10 Jr. Carly Frala, 6-0 So. Gwen Adams, 5-4 So. Nakiah Bell, and 5-7 Jr. Nia Roth.

 

Incarnate Word defeated Christian Academy of Louisville by a score of 75-42.  Incarnate Word shot 60% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line.  The Red Knights connected on nine of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 20 CAL turnovers.  CAL shot 31.4% from the field including five of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Centurions connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 18 Incarnate Word turnovers.

 

Napeesha Collier led Incarnate Word with 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Collier was 12 of 15 from the field including one of one from beyond the arc, and one of one free throws.  Nia Roth added 17 points including five three point baskets.  Gwen Adams chipped in with 13 points.  Nakiah Bell dished out 10 assists.

 

China Dow led Christian Academy of Louisville with 29 points including four three point baskets and 10 rebounds.

Hathaway Brown coach Paul Barlow started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Nia Marshall, 5-7 Jr. Beth Brzozowski, 6-1 Sr. Vanessa Smith, 5-6 Sr. Stephanie Solano, and 5-6 Sr. Lysette Roman.  Marion County coach Trent Milby countered with 6-1 Sr. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, 5-11 Sr. Logan Powell, 6-1 Jr. Alexus Calhoun, 5-9 Sr. Patrice Tonge, and 5-10 Sr. Makayla Epps.

 

Marion County defeated Hathaway Brown by a score of 68-33.  Marion County shot 42.2% from the field including eight of 24 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 21 Hathaway Brown turnovers.  Hathaway Brown shot 27.3% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Blazers connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored four points off 10 Marion County turnovers.

 

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 26 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  Epps was 12 of 16 from the field including two of five from beyond the arc.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Alexus Calhoun pulled down 11 rebounds.

 

Nia Marshall led Hathaway Brown with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Vanessa Smith added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Science Hill (TN) coach Darrell Barnwell started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Shy Copney, 5-9 Sr. Enjelica Reid, 6-1 Jr. Gabby Lyons, 5-6 Jr. Tiana Tarter, and 5-10 Sr. Morgan Knack.  Mercy Academy coach Mark Evans countered with 5-10 So. Sarah Parr, 5-10 Sr. Morgan Doherty, 6-0 So. Malerie Martin, 5-7 Sr. Kayla Richardson, and 5-8 Sr. Whitney Hartlage.

 

Science Hill (TN) raced out to a 25-9 first quarter lead on their way to a 76-54 victory over Mercy Academy.  Science Hill shot 50.8% from the field including eight of 24 from the three point line.  The Hilltoppers connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Mercy turnovers.  Science Hill held a 21-9 advantage in second effort points.  Mercy Academy shot 34% from the field including seven of 25 from beyond the arc.  The Jaguars connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 Science Hill turnovers.

 

Gabby Lyons led Science Hill with 18 points, seven rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Lyons was eight of eight from the field and two of two from the free throw line.  5-10 So. Keisha Gregory added 14 points including four three point baskets.  Shy Copney recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and three steals.  Morgan Knack chipped in with 11 points including three three point baskets.  Tiana Tarter added 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

 

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy Academy with 20 points including four three point baskets.  Kayla Richardson and 5-8 So. Hannah Bewley added seven points each.  Bewley also dished out seven assists.

Ryle coach Patti Oliverio started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. McKell Oliverio, 5-7 Jr. MacKenzie Senvisky, 6-0 Fr. Jenna Carouthers, 5-6 Sr. Katie Connor, and 5-6 So. Madison Martin.  Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings countered with 5-7 Sr. Cady Cornell, 5-9 Jr. Courtney Pfister, 5-10 So. Kylee Willis, 5-4 Jr. Emily Fryman, and 5-7 Jr. Tyler Blain.

 

Bullitt East defeated Ryle by a score of 61-36.  Bullitt East shot 47.3% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Chargers connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 26 Ryle turnovers.  Ryle shot 28.3% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 24 Bullitt East turnovers.

 

Courtney Pfister led Bullitt East with 17 points and five rebounds.  5-6 8th grade Lindsey Duvall added 11 points and six rebounds.  Kylee Willis pulled down eight rebounds.  Emily Fryman recorded seven points, five assists, and four steals.  5-9 Jr. Mackenzie Bass chipped in with five points and eight rebounds.

 

MacKenzie Senvisky led Ryle with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.  McKell Oliverio added 16 points, six rebounds, and three steals.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Withrow (OH) by a score of 55-43.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 51.2% from the field including three of eight from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 24 Withrow turnovers.  Withrow shot 32.7% from the field including two of six from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Sacred Heart Academy.

 

Kristin Matula led Sacred heart with 20 points and five rebounds.  DaiJia Ruffin added 19 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals.

Hathaway Brown trailed 39-34 after three quarters but rallied to defeat DuPont Manual by a score of 58-53.  The score was tied three times and there were six lead changes.  Hathaway Brown shot 31% from the field including six of 23 from the three point line.  The Blazers connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Manual turnovers.  Manual shot 33.3% from the field including four of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Crimsons connected on nine of 15 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 Hathaway Brown turnovers.

 

Vanessa Smith led Hathaway Brown with 21 points and 13 rebounds.  Beth Brzozowski added 15 points including three three point baskets.  Nia Marshall recorded 10 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Stephanie Solano chipped in with 10 points, five rebounds, and three assists.

 

Destony Curry led Manual with 16 points and six rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Morgan Allen added 13 points including three three point baskets.  Kayla Styles recorded 11 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.

Marion County defeated Science Hill by a score of 61-58 in a battle of nationally ranked powers.  Marion County shot 55% from the field including zero of three from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 17 of 31 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Science Hill turnovers.  Science Hill shot 39.3% from the field including eight of 24 from beyond the arc.  The Hilltoppers connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 15 Marion County turnovers.

 

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 34 points and four steals.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Alexus Calhoun chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots.

 

Gabby Lyons and Tiana Tarter led Science Hill with 14 points each.  Morgan Knack added 11 points including three three point baskets.  Shy Copney recorded nine points, seven rebounds.

Napeesha Collier led Incarnate Word with 29 points and 17 rebounds.  Collier was 13 of 19 from the field and three of six from the free throw line.  Nia Roth added 12 points including three three point baskets.  6-3 So. McKenna Treece chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.

 

Kayla Richardson led Mercy Academy with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.  Whitney Hartlage added seven points.

Butler defeated Paul L. Dunbar by a score of 71-52.  Butler shot 46.4% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 35.7% from the field including two of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Butler turnovers.

 

Danielle Lawrence led Butler with 20 points, seven rebounds, and three steals.  Aareon Smith added 18 points including two three point baskets.5-6 Sr. Erica Elliott chipped in with eight points.  Miah Casey and Alexis Stallard each recorded six points and seven rebounds.

 

5-10 Sr. LaKeena Parks led Dunbar with 10 points and four rebounds.  Lexus Edwards added nine points.  Brooke Todd recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Shakeema Jackson also scored eight points including two three point baskets.
