Championship

Florida Elite captured the championship with a 59-55 victory over BA Hoyas.  6-4 Sr. Michael Frazier led the victors with 26 points.  The BA Hoyas had an excellent tournament run and the team included Troy Saxton and Charles Foster (Trinity), Jordan Brewer and Anthony Myrks (Bardstown), Adam Fatkin (Clark County), Evan Bingham (DeSales), DeMichael Jackson (Jeffersontown), Devon Rowan (North Oldham), and Brian Stone (Collins).

6-7 Sr. T.J. Warren (NC) played well for the Garner Road Bulldogs this week.  Tamron Manning (Scott County) and Nathan Dieudonne (Trinity) played well for KYA All-Stars.  Max Clemons (PRP) came up big for Louisville Flight this week and Isaiah Ivey (Scott County) had a solid week for Central KY Storm.  Matt Day (Buckhorn) continued to impress with some solid outings for Charlotte Court.

Summary

Tournament Director Eddie Ford did an excellent job bringing in some outstanding teams and individual players.  There were many outstanding performances from both Kentucky players and out-of-state talent, far to many to be mentioned here.  There was also many college coaches in attendance as well as excellent media coverage.  Read all about the tourney and players in Jody Demling’s blogs in the Courier Journal newspaper.  Nobody covers an event better than Jody.
