Kentucky missed their first ten shots from the field but the offense warmed up and their tenacious defense allowed them to defeat Indiana by a score of 75-47.  The victors shot 35.5% from the field, connected on 27 of 28 free throws, and pulled down 51 rebounds.  Indiana shot 31.5% from the field, connected on 13 of 24 free throws, and pulled down 39 rebounds.

 

Sydney Moss led Kentucky with 14 points and 12 rebounds.  LeAsia Wright and Kendall Noble added 12 and nine points respectively.

 

Rachel Gregory and Akilah Sims led Indiana with 12 points each.

The heavily favored Indiana squad led by 14 points but had to rally from a 74-73 deficit to defeat Kentucky by a score of 90-85.  The already undermanned Kentucky squad suffered another loss when Jeril Taylor went down in the second half with a strained knee.  Indiana shot 38.7% from the field, connected on 26 of 33 free throws, and pulled down 57 rebounds.  Kentucky shot 42.3% from the field, connected on 19 of 25 free throws, and pulled down 36 rebounds.

 

Gary Harris led Indiana with 20 points.  Glenn Robinson III, R.J. Hunter, and Yogi Ferrell added 13, 12, and 10 points respectively.  Ferrell also recorded five rebounds, six assists, and several key defensive plays.

 

Nathan Dieudonne led Kentucky with 24 points and six rebounds.  Tamron Manning added 23 points.

Kentucky All-Star Girls  vs.  Indiana All-Star Girls

 

Kentucky utilized their total team concept and a tight defense to rout Indiana by a score of 92-75.  Kentucky shot 45.6% from the field, connected on 19 of 29 free throws, and pulled down 49 rebounds.  Kentucky scored 29 points off 28 Indiana turnovers.  Indiana shot 29.2% from the field, connected on 30 of 43 free throws, and pulled down 54 rebounds.

 

LeAsia Wright led Kentucky with 15 points including four three point baskets.  Bre Elder added 13 points and five rebounds.  Sydney Moss recorded 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.  Micah Jones and Kendall Noble each scored 11 points.

 

CoCo Moore led Indiana with 18 points and six rebounds.  Jessica Rupright added 13 points.  Nariah Taylor scored eight points and pulled down 14 rebounds.

Kentucky led 41-40 at halftime but Indiana rallied in the second half to earn an 83-73 victory.  Indiana’s defense came up big in the second half holding Kentucky without a field goal for a nine minute stretch.  Indiana shot 40.5% from the field, connected on 11 of 25 free throws, and pulled down 49 rebounds.  Kentucky shot 39.3% from the field, connected on 17 of 23 free throws, and pulled down 45 rebounds.

 

Gary Harris led Indiana with 17 points.  Ron Patterson and R.J. Hunter added 14 and 11 points respectively.  Jeremy Hollowell recorded nine points and nine rebounds.

 

Jay Johnson led Kentucky with 16 points.  Jeril Taylor added 12 points on four three point baskets.  Nathan Dieudonne recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.  Tamron Manning also recorded double figures with 10 points.
