There were 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Division I plus Grade 10th and 11th Division II championships decides at this event. I will focus on the teams based in Kentucky that captured a division championship.
10th Grade Division I Boys Championship
One hundred forty teams were placed in thirty five pools as follows: Pool A: Next Generation Texas, L2 Ravens, Team CBIZ, and Bay Area Dragons. The Ville 2013 won their pool with a 3-0 record. They defeated Garner Road Bulldogs-Coleman 64-56, Florida Elite 49-45, and San Antonio Roadrunners 68-46. They won their first two games in the championship bracket 89-70 over the Columbia Ravens and 83-77 over BW SL-Coach Chiz 83-77. The Ville 2013 was then was defeated 70-62 by Team Takeover. They then entered the 4th Round Consolation Bracket and defeated Nike Team Florida 78-70, All Iowa Attack-Martin 69-63 and won the championship with a 55-52 victory over Xpressions Elite 2013 to capture 9th place in the tourney.
Members of Coach David Levitch’s team included Dominique Hawkins and Ken-Jah Bosley (Madison Central), Omar Prewitt (Montgomery County), Larry Morton (Bryan Station), Jack Whitman (Lexington Catholic), Tyler Wesley (Oldham County), David Levitch (North Oldham), and Darryl Hicks (Trinity).
Louisville’s Finest went 1-2 in pool play but rebounded to win six games in a row in the Classic Bracket to capture the title. They defeated IL Wolverines 58-54, TN Nashville Stars Elite, BB Stars of America 54-49, Florida Elite 44-41, Texas PRO-ET 59-56, and captured the title with a 67-63 victory over Team Charlotte.

BA Hoyas dropped three close decisions in pool play but won six in a row to capture the Classic Division Bracket Championship. Their victories were 60-44 over Charlotte Panthers, 65-38 over Team IL Hawks Gods Glory, 64-58 over Illinois T-Wolves Blue, 63-60 over Gold Coast, 71-68 over Fairfax Stars, and a 62-45 championship victory over Team NLP 17U DF.

I decided to cover these particular divisions because of the success of the Kentucky teams that I get the opportunity to see most of the players during high school season.
