There are twenty eight teams entered in the Boys Junior Varsity Division tournament. They are divided into seven pools as follows: Pool A: Harlan County, Bryan Station, Woodford County, and Boyle County 1. Pool B: Western Hills, Scott County, Bell County, and Garrard County 1. Pool C: Tates Creek, East Jessamine, LCA 1, and Buckhorn. Pool D: Corbin, Montgomery County, Boyle County 2, and Franklin County. Pool E: Rowan County, Garrard County 2, LCA 2, and South Laurel. Pool F: Bourbon County, Dunbar, West Jessamine, and Heritage Academy. Pool G: Clinton County, Rowan County 2, Pulaski County, and Rockcastle County.

Matt Slavey led South Laurel with 22 points. Zack Jones added 18 points including five three point baskets. Aaron Adams and Zack Baxter chipped in with 10 points each. Zach Chitwood, Zach Caldwell, Austin Maggard, and Tyler Miller led Harlan County with 16, 14, 13, and 12 points respectively.
