There are 14 teams entered in the Boys 15 & Under Division.  The teams are divided into four pools as follows:  Pool 1:  Truth White, Higher Level Gold, Northern KY Tarheels, and Hoptown Hoyas.  Pool 2:  Central KY Elite, Western KY Elite, and KY Gymrats.  Pool 3:  Higher Level Black, Hoop Dreams, and Northern KY Rhinos.  Pool 4:  Derek Smith, RDA NKY Elite, Truth Black, and Shining Star Sports. 

There are nine teams entered in the Boys 16 & Under Division.  The teams are divided into three pools as follows:  Pool 1:  The Truth, Lexington ICE, and Western KY Elite White.  Pool 2:  NKY Bulldogs, Higher Level, and Shining Star Sports.  Pool 3:  Hoyas Elite, Derek Smith, and Western KY Elite Blue. 

There are 14 teams entered in the Boys 17 & Under Division.  The teams are divided into four pools as follows:  Pool 1:  Derek Smith, Shining Star Sports Bundy, and KY Firebirds.  Pool 2:  Clay County, Central KY Storm Black, and Higher Level Black.  Pool 3:  Central KY Storm Blue, Higher Level Gold, Team Kentucky, and Shining Star Sports McFarland.  Pool 4:  KY Players, Shining Star Sports Jackson, Higher Level Purple, and Eastern KY Lightning.

George Fant, Timmy Knipp, Remy Abell, and Robbie Stenzel led Derek Smith with 19, 19, 15, and 14 points respectively.   The victory was costly however as Stenzel took a hard fall resulting in a hip injury which will keep him out of the championship game.  Jesse Anderson and Josh Forrest led Western KY Elite White with 31 and 11 points respectively.

Conclusion

Congratulations to Derek Smith 15U, Derek Smith 16U, and Shining Star Sports McFarland for capturing their respective division championships.  I have attempted to give a brief recap of this tournament and the statistics came from the game scoresheets.  I apologize in advance for any misspelled names or errors in stats as I hurriedly transcribed the statistics from the scoresheets.  This report is meant to be an overview of the tournament for entertainment purposes, and not an instrument for ascertaining individual records.
