Bryan Station Coach Champ Ligon started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Dacoby Burnett, 6-1 Jr. Charles Ashford, 6-3 Sr. Terrell Combs, 5-10 Jr. Montell Morones, and 6-3 Sr. Shelvin Mack. Scott County Coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-7 Jr. Richie Phares, 6-4 Sr. Cameron Hundley, 6-7 Sr. Jordan Lee, 6-2 So. Ge-Lawn Guyn, and 6-5 Sr. Tyler Portwood.
Bryan Station went on a 19-1 run in the third quarter on their way to an 85-70 victory over Scott County. Scott County took a 27-25 lead in the second quarter but Bryan Station went on a 9-2 run to take a 34-29 lead at halftime. Bryan Station's quickness generated 21 Scott County turnovers which they converted to 28 points. Bryan Station also held a 21-9 advantage in three point points.
Bryan Station shot 50.8% from the field including seven of 17 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 14 of 25 free throws and pulled down 33 rebounds. Scott County shot 50% from the field including only three of 17 from beyond the arc. The Cardinals connected on seven of nine free throws, grabbed 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 12 Bryan Station turnovers.
Shelvin Mack led the victors with 31 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and six steals. Dacoby Burnett added 17 points and five rebounds. Montell Morones chipped in with 16 points including four three point baskets. Richie Phares led Scott County with 25 points and nine rebounds. Tyler Portwood added 16 points including two three point baskets.
