Conclusion

This was an excellent tournament and an outstanding week of basketball.   University Heights, coached by Randy McCoy, concluded an excellent tourney run with a championship.   Several players displayed the talents necessary to play at the collegiate level.   Tyshwan Edmondson was a deserving MVP but Scotty Hopson could have received that honor as well.

This tournament truly epitomizes the ideals and standards that the founders wisely saw in their crystal ball several years ago.   The talent was good, the fan support enthusiastic, and the tournament gave many players a stage on which to be appreciated.  Congratulations to all for a job well done.

A special thanks to All "A" Classic Secretary and Media Coordinator Mike Reeves for the hospitality extended me during the many hours spent at this event.   Also a note of appreciation to David Parke, Coordinator of Arena Facilities and to Hugh Davis and the Eastern Kentucky University stats crew and All "A" Committee.   The All "A" Classic, in my opinion, is first class and is one of the most enjoyable events I have ever attended or worked.
