I have attempted to give a brief recap of each game played this weekend. The stats in this report came from the game scoresheets. I apologize in advance for any errors or misspelling of names. This writeup is not meant to be used for official records but for general coverage of this event.
Congratulations to the Scott County Cardinals for their championship run and all the fine teams and players who participated this weekend. Scott County had to survive overtime victories in the quarterfinal and semifinal to advance to the title game.
A special thanks to Sean Vinsel, Steve Hatton, and the rest of the Kentucky Basketball Academy staff for the hospitality extended me this weekend. It would be impossible for me to cover these events without the outstanding cooperation and help I get from the staff.
Please feel free to send your comments and questions concerning the tournament, teams, or players to me at email@example.com.
