Mason County (11-6) at Scott County (11-2)

Mason County coach Paula Buser started the following lineup:  5-9 Jr. De’Sarae Chambers, 5-7 Sr. Torrey Chambers, 5-8 Fr. Keller Menke, 5-7 Jr. Lacey Cline, and 5-8 Jr. Kasey Litzinger.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-11 Sr. Rebecca Gray, 5-10 Fr. Madisen Webb, 6-0 Sr. Holly Milburn, 5-6 Sr. Brillia Garr, and 5-5 Jr. Kayla Moses.

Scott County pulled away in the final quarter to defeat Mason County 99-73.  The victorious Lady Cardinals shot 50% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  They connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Mason County turnovers.  Mason County shot 37.7% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Royals connected on 25 of 35 free throws, grabbed 37 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 15 Scott County turnovers.

Scott County was led tonight by Rebecca Gray who barely missed a triple double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.  Madisen Webb added 17 points and nine rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Samika Payne and Kayla Moses chipped in with 11 points each.  Holly Milburn recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds and 5-7 8th grader Kristen Stainback came off the bench to add nine points.  The Lady Cardinals held a 32-6 advantage in bench scoring.

Lacey Cline led Mason County with 26 points including 10 of 13 from the free throw line.  De’Sarae Chambers added 21 points and seven rebounds.  Torrey Chambers recorded 12 points and 11 rebounds.
