Conclusion
I have attempted to give a brief recap of most of the games played in this tournament. I apologize in advance for any misspelled names or errors in stats as I hurriedly transcribed the statistics from the scoresheets. This report is meant to be an overview of the tourney and not an instrument for ascertaining precise individual records.
Congratulations to the Central Kentucky Warriors for winning both the 8 & Under and 10 & Under (Division I) tournaments, and to Somerset Future for winning the 10 & Under (Division II) tournament. The Central Kentucky Warriors are sponsored by the S. A. C. Foundation, Inc.
The 10 & Under Division I champion Central Kentucky Warriors are coached by Robert Grinter and won their games by 28, 10, and 28 points. This is a very talented team that bears watching both collectively and individually in the future. Several players had excellent tournaments including Trey Grundy, Christen Cunningham, Jordan Green, Reese Ryan, and Theodore Ware. Green and Grundy both rebounded well this weekend.
Somerset Future had an excellent run in winning the 10 & Under (Division II) championship, and won their games by 46, 14, 15, 13, 11, and 23 points. Several players for Somerset Future had good tourneys including Ryan Dishman, Tyler Thacker, Cameron Cheuvront, and Kenny Spear. The North Lexington YMCA Blaze 9U played "up" in this tourney and Jeremiah Tisdale recorded some big numbers with 22, 17, 23, and 20 points.
