Dixie Heights (5-9) at Scott County (9-2)
Dixie Heights coach Ken Chevalier started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Sam Lawson, 6-0 Sr. Justin Cole, 6-0 Sr. Josh Keener, 6-0 Sr. Nick Groneman, and 5-10 Sr. Jason Muzzillo. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-3 Jr. Rodney Haddix, 6-3 So. Bud Mackey, 6-6 So. Jordan Lee, 6-5 So. Tyler Portwood, and 6-4 Jr. Matt Walls.
Scott County led Dixie Heights 26-17 at halftime on their way to a 55-40 victory. Scott County held a 47-23 advantage in rebounds and held Dixie Heights to 27.3% from the field.
Scott County shot 47.9% from the field, connected on seven of 15 from the free throw line, and pulled down 47 rebounds. Dixie Heights only shot 27.3% from the field including six of 26 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on four of six free throws, and grabbed 23 rebounds. The Cardinals were guilty of 25 turnovers, but Dixie Heights could only convert for nine points.
Matt Walls led Scott County with 18 points and seven rebounds. Bud Mackey also reached double figures with 10 points. Rodney Haddix and Jordan Lee chipped in with eight and seven points respectively. Sam Lawson led Dixie Heights with 17 points. Josh Keener added 12 points and recorded three steals.
