Conclusion
Congratulations to the organizers for putting together another excellent field and to the Scott County Cardinals for capturing their seventh Toyota Classic championship in 10 years. There was some excellent basketball played this week and 7-2 Sr. Jared Carter of Scott County continues to draw the interest of several top D-1 programs including Tubby Smith of Kentucky who was in attendance this week.
The Toyota Classic organizers continue to send the right message as they recognize student athletes with recognition of juniors and seniors who have maintained a cumulative average of 3.0 or better. This year 35 student athletes were recognized for their accomplishments.
