Bryan Station (10-5) at Tates Creek (9-2) (Girls)
Bryan Station coach Jackie Williams started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Brittney Clark, 5-6 So. LaKrista Clark, 6-2 Jr. Crystal Leach, 5-6 Jr. Carley Blankenship, and 5-7 Jr. Bradli Stinson. Tates Creek coach Jan Ulmer countered with 6-1 Sr. Kristen Pendleton, 5-7 Sr. Derrica Morton, 6-2 Sr. Brittany Pittman, 5-7 Sr. Philnisha Lindsey, and 5-8 Sr. Shaquita Dowlen.
Tates Creek trailed 27-26 at the half but roared back in the second half to take a 54-34 decision. Bryan Station was 11 of 21 from the field in the first half but Tates Creek tightened their defense in the second half and Bryan Station could only manage three of 29 from the field. Bryan Station shot 28% from the field for the game and was three of 10 from the free throw line. Tates Creek managed 33% from the field and was 18 of 31 from the free throw line.
Tates Creek was led in scoring by Philnisha Lindsey with 16 points. Kristen Pendleton added 12 points and 14 rebounds while Shaquita Dowlen chipped in with 11 points. Brittany Pittman was limited to six points but she added 13 rebounds and disrupted the Bryan Station offense with seven blocked shots. Crystal Leach and LaKrista Clark led Bryan Station with nine and eight points respectively. Brittney Clark added six points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
