Beth Haven (15-8) vs. Presentation Academy (17-11) (at Spalding University)
Presentation raced out to a 30-11 halftime lead on their way to a 48-33 victory over Beth Haven. The victors were led by 5-10 Sr. Amy Gassman, 5-7 Sr. Julia Durbin, and 6-0 Sr. Audrey Gray with 10, nine, and eight points respectively. 5-5 Sr. Frannie Brohm also added eight points. Beth Haven was led by Lamkin, 5-8 Sr. Lindsey Mills, and 5-6 Jr. Kristi Drake with 10, 10, and nine points respectively.

Pleasure Ridge Park (20-9) vs. Iroquois (15-7) (at Iroquois High School)
Iroquois raced out to a 16-4 first quarter lead and cruised to a 64-46 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park. Iroquois was led tonight by 5-0 So. Laquisha Wharton and 5-6 7th grader Adia Mathis with 17 and 14 points respectively. 6-0 Sr. Chelsea Bibelhauser led Pleasure Ridge Park with 22 points. 5-6 Sr. Anitha Smith-Williams added 11 points.

Butler led 32-17 at the half and defeated Central by a score of 70-53. 6-0 Sr. Ashley Lewallen and 5-4 Sr. Jenna Hedges led the victors with 19 and 16 points respectively. Central had four players in double figures, led by 5-5 Jr. LaSasha Hamilton-Sloss with 16 points. 5-10 Jr. Gail Forbes, 6-1 Sr. Tenise Williams, and 5-7 Jr. Kandy Baines added 14, 12, and 11 points respectively.

Fairdale led 13-7 at the end of the first quarter and outscored Southern 20-3 in the second quarter in a 56-32 victory. 5-8 8th grader Ceira Ricketts led the victors with 17 points. 5-9 Fr. Whitney Briggs and 5-5 Fr. Erica Paschel added 11 and 10 points respectively. 5-10 Jr. Thomisha White led Southern with 13 points.

Thursday March 11th - Day 2 (at Louisville Gardens)
Fairdale (17-10) vs. Butler (23-6) Semifinal No. 1
Fairdale coach Larry Bruner started the following lineup: 5-7 8th grader Brittany Wieber, 5-9 Fr. Whitney Briggs, 5-7 Jr. Amy Fink, 5-5 Fr. Erica Paschel, and 5-8 8th grader Ceira Ricketts. Butler coach Stephanie Greathouse countered with 5-8 8th grader Tia Gibbs, 5-7 Sr. Mandy Evans, 5-4 Sr. Jenna Hedges, 5-8 Sr. Megan McGrath, and 5-2 So. Nicole Holman. (Note: 6-0 Sr. Ashley Lewallen did not play tonight because of sickness.)
Butler took a 22-11 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 67-39 victory over Fairdale. Butler shot 50% from the field, connected on nine of 16 free throws and pulled down 51 rebounds. Butler scored 18 points off 19 Fairdale turnovers, while Fairdale scored 23 points off 21 Butler miscues. Fairdale only shot 28.3% from the field, visited the free throw line seven times, connecting on three shots and pulled down 29 rebounds.
The victors were led by Tia Gibbs with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Nicole Holman and Jenna Hedges added 11 and 10 points respectively. 5-10 Jr. Rachael Cummings added six points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Ceira Ricketts led Fairdale with 14 points and recorded five steals. Whitney Briggs added 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Iroquois coach Al Northington started the following lineup: 5-4 Jr. Tascha Gibson, Tiara Hopper, 5-0 7th grader Asia Mathis, 5-6 7th grader Adia Mathis, and 5-0 So. Laquisha Wharton. Presentation Academy coach David Jackson countered with 5-10 Sr. Amy Gassman, 5-7 Sr. Julia Durbin, 6-0 Sr. Audrey Gray, 5-5 Sr. Frannie Brohm, and 5-5 Sr. Khristina Greenwell.
Presentation Academy led 34-32 after three quarters and outscored Iroquois 11-7 in the final quarter to earn a 45-39 victory. Presentation shot 34% from the field, connected on 10 of 19 free throws, and pulled down 41 rebounds. Iroquois shot 27.5% from the field, was nine of 13 from the free throw line, and grabbed 39 rebounds.
Amy Gassman led the victors with 13 points and eight rebounds. Khristina Greenwell and Audrey Gray each added eight points and Gray pulled down nine rebounds. Laquisha Wharton led Iroquois with 15 points. Adia Mathis added nine points and pulled down 14 rebounds, while Asia Mathis chipped in with seven points.

Saturday March 13th - Day 3 (at Louisville Gardens)
Butler (24-6) vs. Presentation Academy (19-11) Championship Game
Butler coach Stephanie Greathouse started the following lineup: 5-8 8th grader Tia Gibbs, 5-7 Sr. Mandy Evans, 6-0 Sr. Ashley Lewallen, 5-8 Sr. Megan McGrath, and 5-4 Sr. Jenna Hedges. Presentation Academy coach David Jackson countered with 5-10 Sr. Amy Gassman, 5-7 Sr. Julia Durbin, 6-0 Sr. Audrey Gray, 5-5 Sr. Frannie Brohm, and 5-5 Sr. Khristina Greenwell.
The score was tied 21-21 at halftime but Butler outscored Presentation Academy 12-3 in the third quarter on the way to a 55-40 victory. Butler shot 36.5% from the field, connected on 14 of 18 free throws, and pulled down 37 rebounds. Butler scored 12 points off 11 Presentation turnovers. Presentation shot 26% from the field, was 11 of 13 from the free throw line, and grabbed 36 rebounds.
Megan McGrath led Butler with 13 points and seven rebounds. Ashley Lewallen and Tia Gibbs each scored 10 points and Gibbs also pulled down 12 rebounds. Khristina Greenwell led Presentation with 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Frannie Brohm added six points and pulled down eight rebounds.
