Scott County (16-4) at Woodford County (17-8) (Girls)
Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 6-1 Fr. Holly Milburn, 5-10 Fr. Rebecca Gray, 6-0 Jr. Aimee Bruckner, 5-4 8th grade Kayla Moses, and 5-6 So. Chelsia Lymon. Woodford County coach Jay Lucas countered with 5-7 So. Amber Penny, 5-7 Sr. Beth Nunnelley, 5-11 Sr. Blythe Brown, 5-7 So. Brittany Henderlight, and 5-7 7th grader Katy Cooke.
Scott County led 53-49 early in the fourth quarter but pulled away to defeat Woodford County 70-56. Woodford County nailed five early three pointers to take a 20-12 lead during the first quarter before Scott County cut the deficit to 22-19 at the end of the quarter. Scott County held a 16-9 margin in the second quarter to lead 35-31 at the half. Scott County increased their margin to 53-45 at the end of three quarters. Woodford County rallied again in the final quarter before Scott County went on a 15-6 run to close out the scoring.
Chelsia Lymon led Scott County with 23 points. Rebecca Gray and Kayla Moses added 13 and 12 points respectively. Brittany Henderlight led Woodford County with 14 points. 5-11 Jr. Emily Freibert, Beth Nunnelley, and Katy Cooke added 10, nine, and nine points respectively. .
