Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Bryan Turnage, 6-0 Sr. Chase Mitchell, 5-10 Sr. Brandon Coles, 5-8 Jr. Noade Day, and 5-10 Jr. Jarrod Gay. Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon countered with 6-1 Jr. Alex Harless, 5-11 Sr. Donald Mullins, 6-5 Sr. Jermaine Sandusky, 5-7 Jr. Tino Washington, and 5-9 Jr. D. J. Adams.
6-3 Sr. Aubrey White scored 30 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Henry Clay to a 65-58 victory over Bryan Station. This is a familiar scenario for White, as he scored 33 points earlier this season in an overtime victory over Bryan Station. Henry Clay shot 47.8% from the field, connected on 17 of 27 free throws, but was outrebounded 41-31 by the Defenders. Bryan Station shot 39.7% from the field, but only visited the free throw line nine times, connecting on four shots.
Bryan Turnage and Noade Day added 10 points each for Henry Clay, and Turnage also pulled down nine rebounds. Jermaine Sandusky led Bryan Station with 19 points and seven rebounds. D. J. Adams, Tino Washington, and Alex Harless added nine, eight, and eight points respectively. Harless pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
