Bryan Station coach Jackie Williams started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Brittney Clark, 5-6 Fr. LaKrista Clark, 6-3 So. Crystal Leach, 5-6 So. Carley Blankenship, and 5-7 So. Bradli Stinson. Tates Creek coach Jan Ulmer-Hintz countered with 6-1 Jr. Kristen Pendleton, 5-8 Jr. Shaquita Dowlen, 6-2 Jr. Brittany Pittman, 5-7 Jr. Derrica Morton, and 5-7 Jr. Philneshia Lindsey.
Tates Creek pulled away from a narrow 21-19 lead at halftime to defeat Bryan Station by a score of 51-38. Tates Creek shot 50% from the field tonight and played well on defense. Tates Creek outscored Bryan Station 15-6 in the decisive third quarter.
The victors were led today by Philneshia Lindsey with 23 points and six rebounds. Brittany Pittman added 11 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and blocked five shots. Shaquita Dowlen and Derrica Morton added seven points each. Kristen Pendleton tallied three points and pulled down nine rebounds. Bradli Stinson and Brittney Clark led Tates Creek with 11 and nine points respectively. Crystal Leach chipped in with eight points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
