Conclusion

Bishop Brossart played well today and Fairdale was impressive in their come-from-behind victory over North Hardin.  Sacred Heart Academy easily defeated a good Perry County Central team and Lexington Catholic defeated another ranked opponent in Elizabethtown in the girls’ games.  Elizabethtown could be tough at tourney time as they have an excellent frontline led by Robyn Jennings and Sara Sexton.  They also have a good backcourt and a promising soph coming off the bench in 6-0 Kabrenda Warfield.  Lexington Catholic appears to be peaking at the right time and Mason County’s Chris Lofton once again showed why he should be a virtual lock for Mr. Basketball.
