Conclusion

Congratulations to Bourbon County coach Brandon Salsman for putting together two excellent days of basketball.  Mason County won the Kentucky state championship last season, entered this season ranked number one, and played well in this event.  Pleasure Ridge Park and Scott County are expected to have excellent seasons and they added quality wins here.  Bourbon County gave North Broward Prep all they wanted.  North Broward was missing Casey Wohlleb due to an injury.  Cardinal Ritter finished 31-0 and won the Class 2A state championship in Missouri last season.  They graduated two excellent guards which Mason County took advantage of in their game but Cardinal Ritter bounced back to defeat a good Lafayette squad.
