Scott County (16-7) at Tates Creek (19-5)
Scott County coach Billy Hicks started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Jeremy Nettles, 6-8 Jr. Zach Van Guilder, 6-1 Jr. Troy Harris, 5-11 Sr. Nick Reed, and 6-1 Jr. Tyler Hicks. Tates Creek coach Joe Pat Covington countered with 6-2 Sr. Josh Bell, 6-2 Jr. Cameron Cross, 6-6 Sr. Michael Cross, 5-10 Sr. Albert Hughes, and 6-2 Jr. Justin Taylor.
Tates Creek led by 18 midway through the second quarter but had to weather a late rally by Scott County to claim a 69-58 victory. Tates Creek led 51-41 entering the final period but Scott County pulled to within two points, 58-56, before Tates Creek pulled away for the win. The Commodores had to overcome foul woes to Cameron Cross, Michael Cross, and Justin Taylor to notch their twentieth win of the season. The victors were led by Justin Taylor and Albert Hughes with 18 and 14 points respectively. Josh Bell and Michael Cross added 11 points each. 6-10 Sr. Justin Lee came off the bench to lead Scott County with 19 points. Nick Reed and Tyler Hicks added 16 and 10 points respectively.
