Frankfort coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Chris Current, 6-3 Sr. Clinton Hall, 6-3 So. Torian Robertson, 6-1 So. Will Current, and 6-2 Fr. Aaron Dunaway. Henry Clay coach Kirk Chiles countered with 6-1 So. Bryan Turnage, 6-2 Sr. Joe Harden, 6-9 Sr. John Patterson, 5-8 Sr. Branden Bowman, and 5-10 Sr. Lamont Campbell.
Frankfort led 30-29 at the half but Henry Clay went on a 21-10 run in the third quarter on their way to a 79-60 victory. Henry Clay shot 40.3% from the field and was 25 of 34 from the free throw line. Frankfort was 40% from the field and connected on 19 of 26 from the free throw line. Henry Clay outrebounded Frankfort 43-33. Henry Clay was led tonight by Lamont Campbell with 26 points, all coming in the second half. Campbell was 18 of 19 from the free throw line. John Patterson added 16 points and 11 rebounds. 6-2 Jr. Aubrey White and Bryan Turnage chipped in with 12 and 11 points respectively. Frankfort was led by Chris Current with 21 points and 11 rebounds. 6-0 So. Joe Hyatt came off the bench to add 15 points. Torian Robertson chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds.
