Hazard (12-6) vs. Bryan Station (12-6) February 9, 2001
Hazard coach William Fanin started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Clint Napier, 6-1 So. Chris Olinger, 6-2 Fr. Stephen Sizemore, 6-1 Sr. Matthew Campbell, and 5-9 Jr. Jeremy Campbell. Bryan Station coach Bobby Washington countered with 6-4 Sr. Waltclaire Flynn, 6-6 Sr. Terren Harbut, 6-0 Sr. Brian Carpenter, 5-9 Sr. Scotty Ferguson, and 5-8 8th grader Martiese Morones.
Bryan Station utilized their inside strength to dispose of Hazard by
a score of 82-71. Bryan Station led 65-43 at the end of three quarters
but Bryan Station substituted liberally and Clint Napier scored
17 of his game high 24 points in the final period to close the gap.
Bryan Station was led tonight by Waltclaire Flynn and Brian Carpenter
with 22 and 20 points respectively. Terren Harbut added to
19 points. Hazard was led by Napier with 24 and Stephen
Sizemore added 13 points.
